The Oppening Cermoney of the 32nd Natinal games was held at the Railway stadium Lahore The oldest and trusted Venues of Lahore organised by the Pakistan Olympic Assosiation and Hosted by the Punjab Olympic Assosiation. The event was held with the Theme of the comming togather of the Diffrent Cultures of Pakistan as one in sports. This theme and was further strenthend by particpation of over 3000 athletes from all over pakistan the Entusiasam of the athetes was clearly visable .

Wapda , HEC , Pakistan Police , Punjab , Balochistan , Kyber Pakhtoon Kya , Fata , Sind and Independent Athlete from Islambad are takeing Part .

The Newly Formed Pakistan Aerobics assosiation put up a Grand Show of Dance showing the Cultureal Mix of the nation fetures profesonal dance troop as well as school children from local schools from Lahore . The mix of diffrent songs from diffrent provinces made each of the respective contingent shows support and pride of there own province

The show was tailor made for the athlete and the Sports man of pakistan were on show . The March Past with all the Athletes was the star of the show each contgent was Appladed by the crowed and the Guest present at the Oppenign Ceremoney.

The Chief Guest was Syed Shahid Ali President Punjab Olympic assosiation And Honerable Member of the Internaitnal Olympic Committee , Presnt also was President Of Pakistan Olympic committe Genral Arif Hussan and other Members of the Pakistan Olympicc Commitee .

The Naitnal game will feture 27 events of witch 14 women will take part in.

 

News Day 1
Mohammad Shakeel and Raheela Bano gave Wapda a flying start, winning gold medals in the one-kilometre the 500m time-trial events in cycling.
Wapda also clinched gold in the men’s 50m pistol competition with 1,373 points, while HEC and Federal Area grabbed silver and bronze medals respectively. There was more glory for Wapda as Mohammad Abbas grabbed the gold medal in the men’s 50m pistol individual event with 497 points followed by Federal’s Tariq Manzoor and HEC’s Mohammad Uzair. In the women’s 50-metre individual shooting event, Sindh’s Alizeh Babar won the gold while Wapda’s Urooj bagged silver and Punjab’s Fiza Mohammad finished third. HEC women shooters won the gold in the 10m air rifle event. Punjab secured second while Wapda clinched third position.
In the volleyball event, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Sindh 3-1 while Punjab outplayed Balochistan 3-0 in the opening matches.
The boxing and athletics events will begin today.

Day 2

Wapda’s Mohammad Sabir took the first position in the four-kilometer cycling individual pursuit men’s event. Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) Ahsan Abbas secured second place while Punjab’s Mohammad Shakeel bagged bronze. Similarly, Wapda’s Raheela Bano clinched gold in the three-kilometer cycling individual pursuit women’s event, while HEC’s Asama took silver and Pakistan Railways Fiza secured the third position.

Wapda also won the four-kilometer cycling team pursuit men’s event while HEC came second and Railways secured a bronze. Meanwhile, Wapda’s women cyclists bagged the gold medal in the three-kilometer team pursuit event and HEC came in second. Punjab won the bronze medal.

In the swimming events, Sindh’s Rida Mitha won two golds — one in the 100-m freestyle competition and the other in the 100-m butterfly event while Soha Sanjrani won the gold medal in the =+400m individual medley. In team events, Sindh outclassed Wapda and Punjab in the 4×200 freestyle relay competition.

Wapda again came to the fore in the shooting events where it won both gold and silver with Sindh claiming bronze in the 50-m prone rifle individual competition.

But it was Punjab that dominated the women’s shooting events and HEC took silver and bronze in the event. HEC won gold in the 10-m Air Pistol men’s team event.

Sindh won the skeet team event while Punjab bagged silver and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa secured bronze.
